To supply the global market with a simple solution to set up a cooking grill when you’re camping and traveling.

THE SITUATION

For many nature enthusiasts, the ability to cook various types of food on grilling surfaces while enjoying the outdoors is very important. However, most grilling devices are either bulky or have many moving parts, making it challenging to quickly set up as well as travel around with. Which is why we created the portable grill, to help prevent injury from trying to move grill devices around and also cut down the amount of time it takes to set up the grill.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Handy Grill is lightweight and sturdy for grilling different food items while cooking outside, and it has a removable silicone handle that allows for the grill to be moved around without the fear of fire burning you. The locking legs fold up and down with a locking device to prevent the grill from collapsing, giving you a strong cooking platform where you can start a small fire underneath. It also folds into a small, compact grill that is portable, and it requires minimal storage space for backpacking or camping. The Handy Grill is very easy to clean, and it comes in different sizes, targeting minimalists to RV-styled campers. 

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Handy Grill are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The Handy Grill's patent is approved in the US and is pending in Canada.
