To supply the global market with a simple solution to increase productivity and prevent injuries caused by high clamping.

THE SITUATION

Powerline companies often use interphase spacers and dampeners to provide safe and reliable protections against conductors striking each other, causing major damage. However, commonly used tools require repetitive motions and cannot withstand the stresses caused by high clamping. Which is why we created the clamp system, to help prevent injuries and improve productivity, especially in colder climates.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A clamp for use with an impact tool; the clamp having a nut for use with impact tools includes a screw on top, a safety handle, and a hole for carabineer clip. In use, a user adjusts the top screw to a length option desired, such that it doesn't slide onto object to be clamped. The clamp further comprises a grip on the safety handle. The clamp provides faster and more efficient use when using an impact tool.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the IPS Kwick Klamp are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The IPS Kwick Klamp is the subject of Patent Pending in the United States & Canada. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
