To supply the global market with a BBQ with a power wash system built-in to assist with cleaning efforts.

THE SITUATION

The BBQ is a popular tool for cooking food. It’s perfect for summertime, great for entertaining, and when it comes to cooking meat, it’s the only option for a lot of people. The problem is that BBQs can be a challenge to clean. Current methods involve lots of scraping with wire brushes that can be ineffective, time-consuming, and dangerous should the wires come out and get lodged in the food. The Self-Cleaning BBQ is a new system that eliminates manual labor and gets a BBQ cleaner, every time.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Self-Cleaning BBQ consists of a BBQ system, a power wash system, made up of nozzles and a pump, and a water collection tray.

The BBQ system is used for cooking food.

The nozzles on the power wash system are used to spray pressurized water on the grill in order to clean it.

The pump on the power wash system is used to create the pressure needed to properly clean the grill.

The water collection tray catches all the water and grim leftover from the clean to allow for proper disposal.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of Self-Cleaning Barbecue are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The Self-Cleaning Barbecue is the subject of Patent Pending in the United States & Canada. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
