THE SITUATION

Countries, regions and cities have traffic laws and guidelines regarding the speed limit, and distances allowed when passing stopped school buses, emergency vehicles, construction vehicles and zones. However, it is difficult for patrol officers to be in all areas of reckless driving and speed infractions, thereby making accidents common and violations happen undetected. Which is why we created the speed and proximity violation detector, to help capture and identify people violating traffic laws.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The vehicle would have two cameras (front and back) and two proximity detectors on the side. The detectors, mostly made out of plastic or aluminum, emit a laser beam, designed to measure the distance from the detector to the passing vehicle. If any speed violation is detected, it gets passed to the onboard control box, which will determine the speed to be recorded. The camera then captures the vehicle information, such as date, time, and license plate. It is simple, easy to set up, and works with different vehicles and situations.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Speed And Proximity Violation Detector are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The Speed And Proximity Violation Detector is the subject of Patent Pending in the United States & Canada. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
