MISSION STATEMENT

To supply the global market with a simple solution to protect the eyes and face of tactical helmet wearers from sun, rain, and flying and falling debris with no modifications needed to the issued helmet.

THE SITUATION

One style of helmet that is utilized by millions of individuals is a tactical helmet. As is known in the art, tactical helmets are worn by those in the military, law enforcement and police. These styles of helmets are designed to provide head protection for the extreme conditions that the aforementioned individuals are subjected to as part of the tasks and/or responsibilities that the individuals must complete. Unfortunately, the tactical helmet does not protect the wearer's face and eyes from sun, glare, rain, flying and falling debris, and fatigue.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Tactical Visor Assembly functions as an added level of sun protection that can quickly be attached and detached with one hand. The visor would fit into the existing Night Vision Goggles shroud (NVG) and would require no modifications to the helmet. This would allow the wearer of the helmet to conveniently protect themselves from the harmful effects of the sun on their eyes and face during daytime operations. This is achieved by the protrusion of the visor over the front edge of the helmet, similar in effect to a bicycle or motocross helmet visor. Other benefits would include added blast and debris protection, as well as protection from rain.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Tactical Visor Assembly are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The Tactical Visor Assembly is the subject of Patent Pending in the United States & Canada. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
