THE SITUATION

There are several marketplaces where buyers and sellers exchange goods and services, and transactions are initiated online. However, common safety issue arise when buyers choose physical locations to pick up items from the sellers.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

bboxx is an end-to-end electronic classified platform where online transactions are guaranteed safe.

Once the app is downloaded on your mobile device, create a profile and set up your account. A buyer selects an item they want to purchase. The buyer can either buy it outright or they can negotiate right in the app. If the buyers opts to negotiate, after the price has been settled, they can either pay online or pay cash in person. Once a payment method is selected then a mediated meetup location is offered to the buyer and seller. The transaction is secured and confirmed via QR code when the product is dropped off by the seller and picked up by the buyer. With a small membership fee, buyers are able to get items shipped to them for free in all Canadian provinces. It is easy to use, set up and provides optimal security for both buyers and sellers.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of bboxx are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

bboxx is the subject of Patent Pending in Canada and the US. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
