When patients have two adjacent teeth that require fillings, performing the fillings one at a time becomes very time consuming and can be technique sensitive.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Butterfly-Shaped Dental Matrix Band reduces the procedure time when filling two adjacent teeth with greater predictable results by filling both teeth at the same time. To use, place matrix band in between adjacent teeth prepared for fillings, peel apart band on the sides to adapt to the teeth. Place wedge in between the teeth to adapt bottom of band to each tooth, place matrix ring over the wedge to allow adaptation of sides of band to the walls of each tooth. Restore both teeth at same time using contour of band as a guide to give predictable shapes of the final restorations, remove ring, wedge and peel off sides of band and pull on the tabs to remove when done. It is efficient, effective, easy to use and compatible with materials that are readily available when working with other types of matrices.

OBJECTIVES
