THE SITUATION

Summer is a season famous for watching outdoor games and participating in numerous outdoor activities. However, being outdoors in hot weather often brings on its own discomfort in form of heat strokes and headaches.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Cool Caps includes freezable gels that are inserted into temperature control membrane of a baseball cap headliner to keep the head cool in warm weather. With each gel in place, there is heat resistant material on the outside layer of the headliner and a cooling release material on the inside layer of the headliner. The storage case is made out of a gel material which keeps the gels pods cool for a longer time. The design is sustainable and can be used anytime on the go.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of Cool Caps are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

Cool Caps is the subject of Patent Pending in Canada and the US. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
