THE SITUATION

Ratchet straps are used daily to secure loaded goods during transportation. However, when loading bulky heavy items which require using body strength often prone to accidents and can put a strain on a person’s back.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The EZ Ratchet and Snipe secures loads during transportation with ratchet straps by using less effort and added leverage. It can be used to check tension or check tire inflation for heavy trucks while transporting. To use, simply place the head of the ratchet strap inside the C-clamp bracket of the device to hold the strap in place. While standing up, just move the device up and down to secure the ratchet strap to the goods without applying much pressure on the body. The rubber handle provides much needed grip and makes it comfortable to use. It is easy to operate, cost effective, durable, provides added leverage and is safe and secure for loading goods. 

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the EZ Ratchet and Snipe are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The EZ Ratchet and Snipe is the subject of US Provisional Patent application to be filed – it is not filed at this point.
