THE SITUATION

People who live in cold climates are accustomed to using scrapers, snow shovels, or blowers when it snows or rains in freezing temperature. However, when dealing with ice, these traditional tools are often inefficient, labor intensive, require much manpower and can put a strain on the user’s back. 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Hard Packed Snow/Ice Breaker gets under the ice pack and other hard surfaces with a sharper point and has a ridge down the middle to lift and separate the ice, leaving nice big chunks to shovel up after use. The spade end is connected to the power source that vibrates, making it easier to break up the ice or snow with little effort by the user. It can be used to remove roof shingles, hardwood floors and tiles, and can also act as a garden tool to remove weeds and grass with ease. 

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Hard Packed Snow/Ice Breaker are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The Hard Packed Snow/Ice Breaker is the subject of Patent Pending in United States. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
