THE SITUATION

Traveling or going out with infants in general requires transporting diaper bags with food, diapers, wipes, change of clothes and many other items. It however becomes very inconvenient having to carry extra bulky items in case a diaper needs to be changed, blanket is needed or even playing in the park.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Pack N’ Go serves as a travel play mat that doubles as a diaper bag/ tote bag. It is square when unfolded and the mat can be used as a play mat or changing station. It has 6 taps sewn closed and two tabs with a snap to allow you at attach toys to that border of the mat. You can keep the toys attached and even add some to the centre and fold the sides into the middle where there are 5 snaps to secure the toy from falling out and to separate the toys from the tote/diaper bag. You then would fold in half one more time, meeting the handle together to create you tote bag. This fold is secured with with 10 inch zippers on either side that leaves a tunnel through the bottom of the bag to allow yoga mats and bulky items to be carried. The attachment on the front pocket can be converted into a backpack to make carrying easy. When in tote or backpack form it can hold water bottles, wallet, keys, several diaper, wipes, change of clothes, etc. The Pack N’ Go allows you to pack and go anywhere and allows your baby to play and be entertained anywhere with minimal bag/ stuff to carry for the parent. 

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Pack N’ Go are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The Pack N’ Go is the subject of Patent Pending in Canada and the US. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
