To supply the global market with a simple solution to be able to recharge their electronic device while in use or moving around.

THE SITUATION

Portable electronic devices typically require charging multiple times a day when in use. While several types of charging devices exist, they often restrain how much the device can be used during charging.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Portable Charging Assembly allows users to recharge their electronic device while in use or moving around. It can be carried anywhere and does not consume a lot of space. Its main difference from what is in the market is that it can be used outdoors, its wireless, it can fit in a pocket or a bag and the connector can stay on your phone while the CSE remains in your pocket or bag while charging your phone. It also has indicators on the connector which alerts the user when its battery is low and needs to be charged back.

For use, once fully charged, plug the connector into the phone to help charge the phone while doing everyday activity and on the go. The 3 indicators on the case shows the user when it is fully charged, when on average charge and when on low charge. The connector plugged to the phone sends a notification to the phone signaling the battery percentage of the connector. The chip on the bottom of the connector transfers energy from the case to the connector which can be used to charge different mobile devices.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Portable Charging Assembly are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The Portable Charging Assembly is the subject of Patent Pending in Canada and the US. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
