THE SITUATION

Basketball is a popular sport that is played in numerous countries around the world. While the development materials of basketballs have changed over time, the sizes of classic basketballs have been fairly consistent. 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This basketball looks just like the regular size 7 basketball but is slightly larger and has a unique 30 inch circumference. It inflates 8 pounds per square inch to a weight of 23 oz. With a diameter of 9.55 inches and 8 or more panels, it makes it easy for players to adapt to use.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Size 8 Basketball are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The Size 8 Basketball is the subject of Patent Pending in United States. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
