THE SITUATION

Millions of people wear gloves either to comply with safety regulations or simply to prevent injury or discomfort while handling rough materials or working in harsh weather conditions. Whatever the case, trying to pick up objects such as washers or screws often requires removing the gloves which can expose your hands to injuries.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Talon Glove has a hard plastic fingernail embedded, and the notched tip provides the ability to manipulate various objects. It enhances the wearer’s ability to perform tasks while keeping their gloves on and is designed to replicate the natural dexterity of your naked hand while still being protected. It is a simple modification that could be applied to different gloves, helping to reduce injuries and lost time on and off the worksite.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Talon Glove are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The Talon Glove is the subject of Patent Pending in Canada and the US. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
