THE SITUATION

For many vehicle owners, repairs and maintenance can be costly, and sometimes unexpected. However, between varying prices of different dealerships and facilities, it’s hard to know where to get your vehicle prepared and who you can trust.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Automotive Service Hub app provides owners with clear options for their auto repair needs. After downloading the app, users enter their VIN or vehicle year, make and model, along with the repair work they require. After selecting their radius, results of shops, dealerships and private garages are displayed with breakdowns of service time, labour and parts cost for the required work, as well as contact information. Reviews of each facility by other patrons are also shown to help decide which shop provides the best service. Users can photograph and upload their completed service documents to the app to create an electronic back up of this information so that all service history can be stored for easy access. A large benefit is that when you want to sell your car or complete a previously quoted repair or service, the information is right there in the app. Also, dealerships and vendors have an opportunity to market themselves to appropriate clientele. 

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Automotive Service Hub are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
The Automotive Service Hub is the subject of Patent Pending in United States. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
