THE SITUATION

It is a common practice to use sand or salt to add traction before it snows or while shoveling after it snows for safety. However, the present method requires manually pouring the sand, salt, or beads after shoveling, making the progress very time-consuming and inconvenient. Which is why we created the De-Icing Shovel Box.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The De-Icing Shovel Box provides an efficient way to disperse sand or salt and de-ice while shoveling. To use, simply clip on the clamps of the device onto any type of shovel. The adjustable holes at the bottom allow for a variety of sand or salt to fall through with a shovel movement. To use as a handshaker for steps or other icy places, simply slide it out of the frame. It is easy to clip on and clip off, making it easy to de-ice as you go.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the De-Icing Shovel Box are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
The De-Icing Shovel Box is the subject of Patent Pending in Canada and the US. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
