This Modified Lawn Dethatcher collects the Thatch into various piles without the Operator leaving his seat.

PRACTICALLY ELIMINATES THE NEED FOR MANUAL RAKING

With present day dethatchers, the thatch/dead grass is left spread over the entire lawn and must be manually raked or swept up with a lawn sweeper and disposed of. The GS Deluxe is a modification that allows the driver to select spots where they can repeatedly empty/dump the dethatcher and reduce the need to rake or lawn sweep. It has been created for easy dethatching and accumulation of thatch into various piles without leaving the seat of your tow vehicle. It is efficient, saves time and reduces the amount of manual labour required to accumulate the thatch and dead grass into piles ready for disposal. It can also be used as a RAKE by adjusting the Wheels to raise the Tines.


Rake Grass, Leaves, Pine Needles etc. in to piles ready to be collected and disposed of.



Returning to Forward direction, the GS Deluxe bypasses the pile of Thatch and continues forward Dethatching or Raking.

HOW IT WORKS

The GS Deluxe is hitched behind a Tow Vehicle with a pin hitch and can dethatch your lawn and collect the thatch in to piles all at the same time.

When the Tow Vehicle reverses, the slanted tines rotate to be horizontal, close to the ground,

Along with the angled wheels, this causes the de-thatcher to travel sideways at an angle moving rearward and away from the pile of accumulated thatch, making it easy to collect the thatch into piles
