THE SITUATION

Many home and business property owners like to maintain a lush and attractive lawn. Along with dethatching comes the need to collect and remove all the dead grass and thatch left lying on the lawn. Physically raking it into piles is a labour-intensive and timely process

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The GS Deluxe is a Modified Lawn Dethatcher that allows the driver to select spots where they can repeatedly empty/dump the dethatcher and reduce the need to rake or lawn sweep. It has been created for easy accumulation of thatch into various piles without leaving the seat of your tow vehicle. The GS Deluxe is hitched behind a tow vehicle with a pin hitch and dethatches your lawn and collects the thatch all at the same time. When the Tow Vehicle reverses, the slanted tines rotate to be horizontal, close to the ground, and along with the angled wheels, cause the de-thatcher to travel sideways at an angle moving rearward and away from the pile of accumulated thatch, making it easy to collect the thatch into piles. 

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the GS Deluxe are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The GS Deluxe is the subject of Patent Pending in United States as of March, 2022. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis
