THE SITUATION

Many people do not like to eat corn on the cob as it is messy and difficult to hold the hot corn cob. Excess corn cob also gets stuck in your teeth so a full cleaning is needed after eating. 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Hand Operated Corn Sheller quickly and easily removes the kernels from the cob, leaving all the flavor intact without the messy cob. To use, simply move the cob up and down the device, turning and twisting as needed until all kernels are removed from the cob. There is an adjustable blade for shorter and taller kernels or corn types, and it is very fast to use. 60 cobs can be done in 30 minutes, and the corn can be stored or frozen for later use, taking up much less space than a cob of corn. The cobs can be discarded when finished, and then the knife can simply be removed when done, making it easy to clean as well as ensuring the user’s safety.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Hand Operated Corn Sheller are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

The Hand Operated Corn Sheller is the subject of Patent Pending in United States. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
