THE SITUATION

Using garden boxes and pots to grow plants is very common for growers, however pots are usually unable to facilitate proper water distribution and irrigation, thereby making transporting water from source to several pots the only workaround, which is time consuming and unsustainable.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Haus Pot has an integrated irrigation system that solves this problem. The water pump is tied into the pot through a quick connect, which allows a series of pots to be connected together as one system in a desired pattern. Water is then transferred to the pots and dispersed evenly through a series of removable spokes. Spokes are installed by a simple twist lock with an O-ring. Prior to transplant, remove the spokes after pump is shut off or ¼ turn is shut directing flow elsewhere and transplant. Multiple sized pots can plug into the system at anytime. Plants can be watered to run-off multiple times a day with fresh nutrients while nobody is home.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Haus Pot are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
The Haus Pot is the subject of Patent Pending in United States. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
