THE SITUATION

For millions of people, drinking a cup of warm coffee or tea is a daily occurrence for many reasons, however with the cups currently in the market, maintaining the temperature of your coffee or tea on the go is a challenge many face.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Solar Powered Hot Cup is a portable cup designed with thermal insulation that keeps the liquid’s heat for 85 minutes before turning on the throw switch. With the rechargeable solar cells charged, when in use, the lithium battery generates energy transformed from the solar cells into electricity. The sun energizes the cells so that the cup can also be turned on during any outdoor activity. It contains solar thin film cells on the outer cup with ion lithium battery assembly in the base of the cup, a double pole throw switch and electrical parts to maintain heat of any liquid. It is made for use for both hot and cold beverages, making it suitable for outdoor and indoor uses. The handle makes it comfortable to carry and the battery compartment is designed for easy switch out. 

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Solar Powered Hot Cup are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
The Solar Powered Hot Cup is the subject of Patent Pending in United States. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
