THE SITUATION

Switching back and forth between a file and a sander while working on wood and metal projects is very tedious. Having a tool that contains dual functionality would save a lot of time for people working on small and medium sized projects.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Wand Sander provides the ability to have both the file and sander in one tool. The device is designed with an interchangeable adapter to easily switch from a reciprocating file sander to a pad/wand sander. The handle contours to the shape of your hand, making it comfortable to work long hours, and the device has interchangeable files and pads that vary in size with padded strips of sandpaper for the pad/wand feature. It includes a release button located at the top so that quick changes are made with no hassles, switching on and off for action, and a long-lasting rechargeable lithium ion battery. There is also a small compartment in the handle for a hidden, tiny brush for cleaning purposes. The Wand Sander’s easy usability and time-saving features make it the go-to for all small to medium woodworking, metal art, sculpting, and automotive projects.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Wand Sander are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
The Wand Sander is the subject of Patent Pending in Canada and the US. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
