To supply the global market with with a simple solution to cool rooms by using window inserts to connect to stand up AC units.

THE SITUATION

Many people only have crank windows and they need air conditioning in their homes. Crank windows provide the tightest seal possible, which is why most new builds use them. However, stand up window AC units have hoses which require employing options that often do not look good and are ineffective, leaving open gaps needing to be filled.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Window Insert for stand up AC units makes it very easy to use on crank style windows. The cut out with the rubber seal is designed to accommodate any style of hose, which would directly clip into the window insert. To install, simply attach the window insert directly on the frame or screen of the window. The clear polycarbonate material provides an unobstructed view, leaves no gaps, and is visually pleasing as well. This invention will allow all those who do not have sliding windows to take advantage of the stand up AC units. It is cost-effective and allows users to save money while cooling their rooms.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of the Window Insert are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
The Window Insert is the subject of Patent Pending in Canada and the US. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
