Electronically Controlled Substrate Working Apparatus
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
MISSION STATEMENT
To supply the global market with a simple solution to help companies save on production costs by detecting when something is wrong within the drilling cycle for CNC-Controlled Machines.
THE SITUATION
CNC equipment often requires machine load tool monitoring systems to help detect disturbances in machine processing. However, when there is a material variance or chip evacuation change to overcome it can result in very expensive broken tools and component parts.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Our Adaptive Self-Correcting Drill Sequence for CNC-Controlled Machines is an autonomous, self-learning platform wherein the operator is able to set multiple load values per substrate, as well as thresholds for process success or failure. In the event of a failure, the machine will stop and alert the operator so they can return to the machine and take remedial action. In the event of success, the machine will continue on in its journey to complete the task as prescribed, self-adjusting as required within the prescribed load range. Our device makes it easy to detect when something is wrong within the drilling cycle. With the tool tailored to each individual feature in the work piece, once the maximum spindle load is achieved, the spindle withdrawals, and the machine tool will attempt to complete the feature a number of times. The machine can be set to allow a number of trial cycles before the operator is given warning alerts. It is an advanced technology developed to increase machine up-time and eliminate human intervention.
