The EV Smart Box enables the pre-wiring of Level 2 charging stations in new builds and custom installations. This standard utility box will be CSA/UL approved and available through wholesale/retail electrical supply outlets.

The platform is convenient, cost-effective, and allows for the "plug and play" of different OEM manufacturers. The device features a heavy-duty grounded cabinet that can be secured to a wall, flush mounted in a stud cavity (enabling access from both sides), placed in-ground/curb side, or on a pedestal/pole. The OEM power module (with optional wireless, timer, autopay, and parking meter functionality) simply clicks into the standard docking port. The cable reel is fitted with a universal socket that allows users to plug in the untethered charging cable supplied with their EV. The reel also facilitates easy extraction, rewinding, and safe storage of the EV charging cable.
