THE SITUATION

The decline of global bee populations has raised interest in honeybee-keeping in an effort to sustain their survival. However, for many beekeepers, current honey extraction methods can prove to be time-consuming and labor-intensive.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

THE HONEY POT is a newly-developed processor to enhance production continuity while bringing the commercial honey-harvesting process to the kitchen. It is easy to use and it saves time.

To use, simply place THE HONEY POT on a heating element, fill the water bath section, plug in the power cord, and bring the unit up to temperature. 

Simultaneously, add in the contents to be processed. An emulsion of honey, wax, pollen, and resulting bee debris, is continuously placed into the unit. 

Unique to THE HONEY POT, this unit has been designed to optimize heat and to liquify contents, without caramelization. It allows the flavour of the pollen to be infused into the honey, making a very pleasant-tasting product.

Versatile and user friendly, THE HONEY POT can be used as a main honey processor and complements existing operations. This method also extends to other industry production needs. These include but are not limited to sap rendering, due to its non-caramelizing evaporative abilities.

OBJECTIVES

The developers of THE HONEY POT are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. 

These organizations should be capable of producing the product and accessing the appropriate markets with the product.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION
THE HONEY POT is the subject of Patent Pending in the United States. Other territories are being considered on an as-needed basis.
