FEATURES IN DETAIL

THE HONEY POT FEATURES

CONTINUOUS HONEY-EXTRACTION PROCESS

THE HONEY POT is designed to continuously separate the honey from the wax. As the honey-filled comb is added to the top of the unit, pure honey flows out of the bottom drain tube.

ENERGY SAVING

Tedious labor is greatly reduced. Simply scrape the comb consisting of wax and honey—and if desired, pollen—into THE HONEY POT and let it do the work.

COMPACT

THE HONEY POT can be built to any size. However, for the kitchen application, it can be built to 1/4th the size of any of the smallest existing conventional centrifugal extractors.

PROCESSES CRYSTALLIZED HONEY-FILLED COMB

When using conventional extraction methods, it can be tricky to extract solidified honey that has not been harvested in a timely manner.

Honey made from flowers such as Canola tend to rapidly crystallize in the comb. THE HONEY POT renders crystallized honey with ease.

POLLEN BLENDING

Pollen adds a pleasant floral taste-profile to the honey dependent on the flowers selected for pollination by the bees.

Unique to THE HONEY POT is an option to combine pollen into the honey being processed, which will create distinctive craft honey.

As well, while still controversial, consumption of local pollen is thought to relieve seasonal allergies.

DESIGNED WITH THE HOBBYIST IN MIND

THE HONEY POT is user friendly, simple to use, easy to clean, and stores using little space.

This Patent-Pending design brings commercial honey extraction to the kitchen: With limited steps in the process, honey can be extracted, filtered, and packaged with ease—by just one individual if necessary.

BOTH PASTEURIZED AND UNPASTEURIZED CAPABILITIES

Pasteurization is determined by the internal temperature of the emulsion contents and the average time residing in THE HONEY POT.

When THE HONEY POT is used as the main honey extractor, the resulting honey is pasteurized.

THE HONEY POT can also produce unpasteurized honey when utilized as a complementary instrument to warm and filter previously extracted honey from conventional methods.

FILTRATION, COLLECTION, AND PACKAGING MADE SIMPLE

The need for warm buildings - to ensure honey is liquid enough to flow - is no longer necessary: honey, in any physical state, is warmed to a filterable consistency, saving production time regardless of ambient temperatures. As honey becomes warmed, it’s viscosity lowers, allowing it to pour at a higher rate.

If desired, the now warm liquid honey may then be filtered as it leaves The Honey Pot to remove any remaining unwanted debris.

This process works for the wax as well, as it is skimmed from the upper side of THE HONEY POT.

SUMMARY OF VERSATILE APPLICATION

Although designed with honey production in mind, THE HONEY POT also complements pre-existing honey extraction methods—such as conventional centrifugal extraction for raw honey production—all the while utilizing THE HONEY POT's abilities to render slum gum, wax and cappings.

Honey Production with options:

THE HONEY POT presents an opportunity to pasteurize a portion of the beekeeper's honey or to blend pollen with honey to produce a more floral-tasting product.

THE HONEY POT may be utilized in other industry processes—condensing tree sap syrup such as birch or maple, or where similar techniques are sought after—with little to no modification.

OPPORTUNITY FOR EXCLUSIVE LICENSING

The vision is to market THE HONEY POT as an "Out-of-the-box, plug-and-play" method for the hobbyist to enjoy.

THE HONEY POT assembly components can be sourced inexpensively and it has patent pending as of April 7 2021, providing 19 years of competitive edge for its licensee.
